December 3 - December 9, 2017

  • On Sunday, December 3, 2017 at approximately 1:07PM, officers were dispatched to a business on North Leavitt Road in reference to a trespassing complaint. An investigation was conducted and Melanie Ramirez, age 38 of Elyria, was charged with Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication.

     

  • On Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2:27PM, officers were dispatched to a business on Oak Point Road in regards to a theft in progress. It was reported the vehicle fled the area southbound on North Lake Street. An officer located the vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated. An investigation was conducted and Daniel Richardson, age 38 of Lorain, was charged with Theft, Criminal Tools, Possession of Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jacquita Gholson, age 31 of Lorain, was cited for Failure to Reinstate License.

     

     

  • On Thursday, December 7, 2017 at approximately 7:06PM, an officer was dispatched to a business on Cooper Foster Park Road in reference to a theft complaint. An investigation was conducted and Mojica Eliud, age 26 of Sandusky, was charged with Theft.

     

  • On Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:10AM, an officer on patrol on Tenney Avenue observed a vehicle stopped in the roadway, facing eastbound in the westbound lane. When the vehicle began traveling again, the officer observed the driver commit several traffic violations. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation conducted. Michael Ergh, age 47 of Wellington, was charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, Driving in Marked Lanes, Turn Signal and License Plate Light Required.

     

     

  • On Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 9:58PM, officers were dispatched to a business on North Leavitt Road, to speak with an employee in regards to a couple (male and female) being disrespectful and throwing decorations. It was reported the male and female left the business. Upon officers’ arrival, they were flagged down by an employee of another nearby business who reported a male and female were inside that business and the male was causing a disturbance. The couple matched the description of the couple at the first business. An investigation was conducted and Michael Zaenglein, age 28 of Galloway, was charged with Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct Persisting and Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication.
