October 22 - October 28, 2017

  • On Monday, October 23, 2017 at approximately 10:45 AM, an officer on patrol on State Route 58 observed a driver commit a traffic violation. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation conducted. Darrin Hylton, age 40 of Lorain, was charged with Drug Abuse Instruments, Marked Lanes and Turn Signal.

     

  • On Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 6:00 PM, an officer on patrol on Cooper Foster Park Road observed a driver commit a traffic violation. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation conducted. Raymond Delgado III, age 19 of Lorain, was charged with Underage Consumption and Open Container.

     

     

  • On Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at approximately 11:31 PM, officers were dispatched to a residence on Jackson Street in reference to a prowler complaint. An investigation was conducted and Austin Patrick Toney, age 20 of Grafton, was issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

     

  • On Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 4:27 PM, officers were dispatched to the area of Elyria Avenue and Jackson Street in regards to a construction worker being struck by a vehicle. An investigation was conducted and Larry Schieferstein, age 63 of Amherst, was charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated and BAC over .08%.

     

     

  • On Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:42 PM, officers were investigating a suspicious unoccupied vehicle complaint on Middle Ridge Road. In plain view, officers located drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Officers located two males walking on Middle Ridge Road and confirmed one of the males was the owner of the suspicious vehicle. An investigation was conducted and Juan Rodriguez, age 20 of Painesville, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Patrick Estrada, age 19 of Painesville, was charged with Possession of Marijuana.

     

  • On Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 4:16 AM, officers were dispatched to Woodhaven Drive in regards to a disturbance. It was reported an unknown male knocked on the complainants door and when he opened it the unknown male demanded money that was owed to him. After a physical confrontation ensued, the unknown male took off running. Officers located a male matching the description of the suspect. An investigation was conducted and Tyler J. Sebastian, age 28 of Elyria, was charged with Disturbing the Peace and Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication.
