  • On Monday, April 29, 2013 at 3:58 PM, an officer was on patrol in the area of Cooper Foster Park Road near Gargasz Drive when he observed a driver of a vehicle squeal his tires and "fish tail" as he vehicle exited the driveway of a business on Cooper Foster Park Road. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation conducted. Evan Hohman, age 18 of Lorain, was cited for Display of License, Squealing Tires and Operation in Willful or Wanton Disregard of Safety.

 

  • On Monday, April 29, 2013, officers were dispatched to a residence on Cleveland Avenue reference a theft complaint. It was learned a stone statue had been removed from the residence on an unknown date. The statue had been removed from the victim's front yard and had been partially damaged during removal. There have been no suspects charged at this time.

 

  • On Thursday, May 02, 2013, at approximately 06:20 PM, an officer responded to a business on Cooper Foster Park Road in regards to an employee stating that her tires had been slashed while parked in the parking lot. An investigation was conducted and it was determined the tire had torn due to its condition and a driving mishap.

 

  • On Friday, May 3, 2013 at 09:05 PM, an officer was dispatched to Riviera Ave in regards to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle complaint. An investigation was conducted and a male was charged but the complainant decided to dismiss the charges after the male returned the vehicle several days later.
