March 24 - March 30, 2013
- On Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 7:24 PM, officers were dispatched to Apartments on Middle Ridge Road in reference to a male who witnessed a female set a couch on fire on Ravenglass Blvd. An investigation was conducted and Heather Brosky, age 18 of Lorain, was cited for Arson, Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
- On Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 6:01 PM, an officer was on patrol in the area of Cooper Foster Park Road near Linn Road when he observed a vehicle being operated with an equipment violation. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation conducted. The passenger lied to the officer when asked his name. Another officer recognized the male and it was learned he had warrants.
- Christopher Partin, age 25 of Lorain, was cited for Obstructing Official Business and turned over to another department on his warrant. On Saturday, March 30, 2013, at approximately 09:56 PM, an officer was dispatched to the area of Cleveland Avenue and Leavitt Road in regards to a vehicle being chased by another vehicle. Dispatch advised the incident originally started on Risden Road in Vermilion. The officer located the two involved vehicles at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Washington Avenue. While stopped at the red light, one of the suspects exited the vehicle and caused damage to the other vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated and investigation was conducted. Two parties were subsequently arrested. Daniel Young, age 19 of Vermilion, was charged with Complicity to Criminal Damaging. Cameron Davis, age 22 of Vermilion, was charged with Criminal Damaging.
- On Saturday, March 30, 2013, at approximately 11:43 hours, officers were dispatched to Jackson Street in reference a disturbance between several individuals. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle leaving the scene and several others still at the residence. After an investigation, it was learned that a female left the residence after a short struggle with her mother. A juvenile female, age 17 of Amherst, was charged with unruly child and curfew.
